When the full moon shines, a paralyzing fear descends on the isolated Maine town of Tarker Mills. Terror began in January - by the light of the full moon. Finally, partial-page b&w images fuel the intensity. When she was young she was almost killed by them until one wolf in the pack saved her. In the first novel, Shiver, Grace is a teen girl who is obsessed with the wolves that live in the woods behind her house. There’s a fourth book that’s a sort of a follow up later but not required reading. It was written by the incredible Maggie Stiefvater and is a trilogy. But I’m a sucker for YA and I’m a sucker for romance AND a sucker for werewolves…and so we have The Wolves of Mercy Falls series. This will not be for everyone because it is a YA series.
